I'm giving up caffeine. Okay, that's not entirely true, I'd like to give up caffeine, it's on The List. I usually only have a coffee in the morning and coke if it has scotch in it and I stay away from energy drinks unless my favourite friends come to visit and there's Jaeger involved. Other than I don't really drink much caffeine. I have, however, taken a shine to herbal teas lately and this little number has turned out to be a bit of a gem.
Green Tea is good but Peppermint Tea is even better especially Peppermint with Lemongrass in it. I got this from Woolies the other day for $2.89 which is cheaper than a frothy double shot latte down the road and much better for me. The pyramids are cool too, they expand in the water and let it swirl around to get all that fabulous minty goodness.
Peppermint Tea is also a herbal health charm, said to help aid disorders such as headaches, sinus problems, menstrual cramps and stomach upsets, not bad for a cuppa. Lemongrass is good for you too, known to lift the spirits and improve mood and also helps to detoxify the liver, kidneys, pancreas, bladder and digestive tract. Why are we not all drinking this stuff?
Tetley Peppermint Tea ticks all the boxes: cheap, tasty and really good for you. I may never drink another cup of coffee ever again. Yeah right...

Green grass, blue skies and a sunny day - fancy a picnic?
It seems like only yesterday I was thinking to myself summer is almost here and now its almost autumn! Christmas has come and gone as have the school holidays and the sweltering heat. Christmas this year was spent in our home town with our adopted family rather than traveling to the city to be with our other nearest and dearest and it was lovely, lots of overindulging on beautiful foo...
When I signed up for this challenge I thought I can do this, no drama's. 400 minutes in a month is 12.9 minutes a day, easy. How wrong I was. I wish I had tallied trolling through shopping centres or supermarkets though, that would have made my numbers look a bit better
For what I did record on my Footsteps app on my phone I'm grateful, at least I achieved something and it's only up from here...

I have developed a fascination healthy respect for products that are good to use but also good for me or at the very least I can use without any known detriment.
What am I on about? Beauty products. I've decided to no longer be a sheep and mindlessly buy whatever is on special at Woolies, to actually stop and have a look at the ingredients and what is not in it rather than what is.
I've made two such purchases whilst I've been in Perth, a deodorant and a body moistur...
This is a guest post from Kelly George of KELL: Keep Eating, Love Life
It was the middle of 2012 and I was feeling the lowest I ever had. I had no energy, I was forever feeling angry at the world, I was snapping at my kids, I was feeling like a slob because nothing fit me, I was medicated for depression and quite frankly I’m surprised my husband didn’t pack me a suitcase and tell me to get the F&*k out. To the outside world I was probably playing my role as I s...
Hi, I'm Jaz and I think my tits are great. Putting it out there, you know. I had a realization the other day that they are actually really nice, they do what they're meant to and they are me - they are perfect just the way they are.
Why am I telling you this though? When I started Red Dolls I had this idea of being a 'one-stop' shop for things going on around Kalgoorlie: where to shop, who's who, what's going on etc which was fine but I was careful not to shar...
I've been thinking about this for awhile and have even mentioned it to hubby, today I found the home page which to me is my angels pointing me in the right direction, so here it is - Meat Free Mondays!
Apart from getting to make really yummy and nutritional vegetarian meals you get to help the planet in more ways than one. As fabulous as a good steak is, our hankering for meat has consequences on personal level and a global level. Individually, 9 out 10 Australians don't eat ...

Here is a fun little recipe for spiced orange-scented fruit and nut balls that are pure bliss and are a perfect treat for Christmas. There is nothing artificial in these little treats, just fruits, nuts, seeds, orange and spices, so this is clean eating at its finest.
Personally I think that what makes these Christmas Bliss Balls so good is that they are seriously delicious, easy to make, and are super ...

In the world according to Dove this is their new Dove Pure range in a nutshell, I couldn't have worded it better but I have tried it and shared my thoughts further down.
"Dove has created Dove Pure, an anti-perspirant deodorant that contains the ingredients essential to help keep your underarms feeling dry all day and looking healthy, whilst removing unnecessary ingredients that can lead to irritation. In short, Dove P...
